The Monaco Historic Grand Prix has been held since 1997. Organised every two years by the Automobile Club of Monaco (ACM), it takes place on the same circuit as the Formula 1 Grand Prix but with the classic Grand Prix and sports cars of yesteryear.

The 2012 practice session begins on the afternoon of Friday 11th and scrutineering takes place on Wednesday 9th and Thursday May 10th.
