Fireman Sam is a children's TV program based around a Fireman named Sam, the rest of his crew and the local people from the fictional town of Pontypandy in Wales.
The story was originally the idea of two retired firemen who asked Rob Lee to develop the whole concept once they told him about it. TV channel S4C was brought the story to life after seeing the kind of potential it had. Fireman Sam was first aired on Welsh TV in 1985 and two years later on British TV. With the final season of the hit TV program airing in 1994, but ever since it is still as popular amongst children, and is regularly still aired on some Channels.
Fireman Sam has now been modified into a musical show is on tour around the country, so get your tickets to see this kids favorite.
